This guide supports the creation of research-informed podcasts to strengthen connections between FSL educators and researchers. It provides practical advice on planning, recording, and promoting engaging audio content that brings theory and classroom experience into dialogue. The guide covers key podcasting elements such as format, accessibility, episode structure, and hosting platforms. It also includes AI prompts for content development and interview inspiration. Whether highlighting best practices or unpacking academic findings, this guide empowers users to produce compelling, inclusive podcasts that foster collaboration and professional learning in the FSL community.
The final versions of these resources reflect input from a series of focus groups and surveys held in 2023. We would like to thank Gizelle Alvarez-Janzso and Thecle Sandrine Biloa Essomba for their valuable contributions to the podcast guide. This project was funded by the Ontario Ministry of Education and Heritage Canada, through the Camerise project.
