Dans ce cycle d’apprentissage, les élèves deviennent les professeurs de leur propres langues! En groupes, ils créent une liste de 10 mots dans une langue qu’ils parlent, par exemple, l’arabe ou le mandarin. Les professeurs modélisent comment prendre des risques en faisant des conversations spontanées devant la classe dans leurs langues. Celui-ci donne l' occasion de discuter des stratégies pour communiquer dans une langue étrangère sans un grand vocabulaire. Le lendemain, les élèves feront un jeu de rôle spontané en français pour pratiquer ces stratégies.
